    1. Glad you asked! I still had my old Nikon D90 for the Montana trip last year, so it has one of the older 12.9 MB sensors. But I used my trusty Nikon 18-200mm lens, which is sharp as a tack. I also used a low ISO (so little digital noise) and f/10 aperture, which is one of the middle settings that is optimum for that particular lens. I also hit the image with a small amount of a "details" filter in one of my Nik plug-in programs during the digital editing. As a result of all those factors, I was able to get a lot of detail showing even in the distant trees!
