Photo of the Week - Arroyo Near Deer Creek

Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument, Utah

Located along the Burr Trail, this arroyo (an intermittent dry creek) cut through the desolate landscape and showed evidence of a recent rainfall.

  1. Dry desert and beautiful, life-giving water. Great contrasts here.

  2. Makes me wonder how deep it flows with a lot of rain or snow melt. Beautiful colors and textures!

  4. I've been there Donna and it is a special place. All the US national parks are awesome and so well worth visiting. We've done them all, some more than once, but often talk about returning to our favorites yet again - no need really to go overseas for beautiful scenery!

Hope all continues to go well there dear friend.
