First Daffodils of the Season!

the daffies are wearing raindrop accents
We have a rainy day but that doesn’t dampen my spirits when it comes to our daffodils! I have been patiently waiting all week for the earliest variety to open up. So nothing was going to stop me from getting a little bit soggy and taking a quick snapshot to celebrate the first blooms of the season.

Spring is arriving!

  6. I love a spring rain. The first blooming bulbs are a bonus - nice little drops of sunshine in a sleepy rainy day.

  11. These are so pretty, especially with the raindrops on them. I am so jealous and getting a little impatient that we have to wait just a little longer up north to see any action. I have been going out looking at trees and the ground everyday just to see if anything growing yet but no sign of it just yet but tomorrow is the first day of March so I know it's coming. Happy weekend Donna!

  12. Happy spring! Finally it has come to your region. In Austria, we have warmer temperatures alternating with snow fall. But the branches of the trees are ready for spring!
