Snow Ponies

A snow storm rolled into our area earlier this weekend. The roads were clear enough this afternoon for us to safely venture out to the homebuilding site. Builder Mike is making great progress. Wiring activities are almost finished. All of the floors have been thoroughly swept of accumulated construction debris. A new concrete pad in the garage was a welcomed sight.

After our brief visit, we saw these horses basking in the winter sun. The handsome creatures are part of a large herd that live about a half a mile down the road from our soon-to-be cottage. I hope that you don’t get tired of seeing their pictures!

  4. I love seeing their pictures! I don't see horses much anymore. My little town grew so large and much of the farmland is now subdivided or turned into shopping. That's a beautiful shot of them in the snow. It's exciting to hear how quickly your home is progressing!

    Blessings!

  17. Hi, Catherine! Without getting into the expense of a Photoshop program, you can do some special tricks right on the internet! Go to www.picnik.com, upload a photo, go to the Create tab, and then Effects tab. Click on the various effects on the left-hand side of the screen and adjust the sliders to your liking. After you get done, you download the file back to your computer with the changes! It's a LOT of fun! They have some sample pictures that you can play with first and see what cool things you can do!
