Where Are the Polar Bears? New Series: Polar Bear Country!

OK, we’ve been home for two weeks now from our arctic adventure, and I know what everyone is thinking. Where are the polar bears?! Well, they’re finally here, ready to come out and say hello to you! I hope you enjoy this new series that introduces you to polar bear country!

Can you count how many bears are in this picture?

Yes, there are bears in the picture! I’m not pulling your leg. This tundra landscape dramatically shows you how easy for it is for them to conceal themselves with a little bit of snow on the ground. Would you believe that there are three hunkered down behind the shrub willows?

Why, there’s a momma bear and her two-year old cubs! That’s momma with the soggy behind, telling her cubs that it’s time for a nap.

They nestled down in the snowy embankment, and momma makes sure that they are all tucked in.

But one insists on getting a goodnight kiss, the little imp!

Please come back all this week and see more photos in my polar bear series!
