  1. That green is so vivid against all the blue...talk about a pop of color...now I've got to return to look at the riders of the green.

Thanks for the link...I'll definitely read it. I just listened to a bit of Shelby Foote last evening and his voice is so Southern Gentlemanly...smooth and charming.

  5. Wow, that green buoy really pops right out there. Looks like quite the party going on there.

  6. Thanks, Donna, for your visit at Thinking About Home! Yes, it is always good to meet a kindred spirit. :)

(I am slow returning your visit...today was my birthday, and it has been busy non-stop until just awhile ago!)

This photograph that you have shared today is amazing! The majestic mountain in the background, the vividly green buoy and the seal party hanging out on it...beautiful!

  7. What an absolutely delightful picture! The colors! The critters! And yes, I am bragging on you big time, my friend. The other day when I was in Toledo, there was an area along the riverfront where buoys were scattered in an area beside a huge ship that serves as a party venue now. I was astounded at the size of the buoys. When you get then out of the context of huge water, where they appear small, they are an impressive size. And I love their bright colors!

  8. Pretty and makes one smile. The bird is safer than the seals, if you get my drift. LOL!

  9. That is a striking picture. I actually heard the bell on the buoy in my mind. Was there a bell?

  10. Yes, JT. There was a bell! Though we could hardly hear it from the roar of our boat's engines. The captain was going full throttle and we just barely got some photos taken of the scene.
