Much Appreciated...

Thank you so much for the thoughts and prayers about my mom. She has improved well enough to stay in a regular room now. However, she will remain at the hospital a bit longer than initially planned because of a new respiratory infection. More medicine and rest are the two ingredients that she needs most at this point.

I hope you enjoy a couple more photos from North Carolina’s Blue Ridge Parkway that celebrate the glorious fall of 2012!

  6. Donna - I have missed something but I gather your Mom is ill enough to be in the hospital. I pray she is improving with signs of wellness? Thanks for these lovely photos again. Take care. Rest and relax if you can.

  7. I'm glad your mom is doing better, Donna! My father in law collapsed last week - he ended up smacking his head when he fell and needed stitches. He is 85 and has congestive heart failure, and an irregular heart beat. Charles rushed down there last Saturday and was supposed to come home yesterday, but we had to change his reservation because his dad had a setback on Saturday. I know how you feel, and will keep you and your mom in my prayers!

  9. Good to know that she is doing better despite the new infections. She's definitely in the right place until she recovers enough to return home. Beautiful photos...I'd be shocked if I ever found a "bad" one here.

  13. Donna, I was so happy to see your note to me earlier about your mom doing better. I am sure that with the medicine and rest she will be feeling like her old self in no time.

Thank you for your support on my blog post today. I have to say I had second (and third and fourth?) thoughts about publishing it, but I lay awake in bed this morning and could not get back to sleep, between thinking and praying. So I came into my office and just started writing from the heart.

And again, your photographs are spectacular! Thanks for sharing!... Donna
