Grow Your Blog Party

My name is Donna. I live in beautiful east Tennessee with my devoted husband (aka, sweet baboo). After a long engineering career, I retired in late 2007. We’re now enjoying life in the slow lane here at our country cottage, fondly named Grey Havens. Every now and then, we scamper off on travel adventures. We share a passion for photography, and I constantly strive to improve my skills. Various handcrafts have entertained me over the years, including needlework, and I am particularly proficient in making messes in my studio room.

My blog provides a glimpse of life here at our country cottage and also shares tales of our journeys. Some pretty photos are posted along the way that may bring a smile to your face. I started this blog five years ago and have enjoyed it immensely. The best part of blogging is making dear friends with people from all walks of life. I hope you will come back to visit with me, again and again.

    Nice to meet you! I really enjoyed seeing your pictures of Denali. We were able to visit this past August and got lucky enough to be part of the 33% who saw the mountain- at least part of the day. :)
