It’s time for Vee’s monthly note card party!
Autumn colors haven't arrived in east Tennessee yet, and I doubt whether I'll take any new seasonal photos this year. So I am reliving the autumn of 2012 and sharing some images that I captured in the North Carolina mountains.
These note card parties are delightful. I hope you will have time to stop by A Haven for Vee and visit her other participants!

ReplyDeleteThese really take my breath away! We'll be up there soon and I hope we see a lot of Fall color in the mountains. You always take the most wonderful photos....all perfect for cards! Sweet hugs!
ReplyDeletejust wonderful. i really like the wagon wheel in the building eaves one. :)
ReplyDeleteOh, Donna. I've probably seen all of these (I remember the first recently) but in a group they are an autumnal tour de force. Beautiful! And if you haven't already, make up a set.
ReplyDeleteOh wow, absolutely beautiful!!!
ReplyDeleteThese look familar as I was there last weekend, but we did not have color like that. Maybe it's the weather this year. Your images made into notecards are beatiful!
ReplyDeleteVery nice, indeed.
ReplyDeleteAs usual Donna your photos are stunning. I can imagine buying this set at a gift shop in the Smokies.
ReplyDeleteOh now...this is some fabulous fall color and scenery for sure! Loved each shot!
ReplyDeleteThe color of the autumn leaves is gorgeous! Wow!
ReplyDeleteGor. geous. These photos call to my autumn-loving heart!
ReplyDeleteI want to live in that cabin...and follow the road through that arched tunnel opening. Sigh...
The would make gorgeous note cards! Every photo is lovely!
ReplyDeleteI love all of these photos Donna and would love to buy a set of them. Beautiful choices. Hugs, Pamela
ReplyDeleteWow Donna, this is autumn in all its splendour. The last photo is definitely rolling hills of colour. When we were up north this weekend, the trees were not near as vibrant as they were last year, and many had already lost their leaves.

Stunning!
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful!

Looks like what we saw yesterday!!!! We took a "Leaf Photo Op" day trip (Smokies, Blue Ridge Parkway, Cherohala Skyway) --and it was FABULOUS. The colors at the higher elevations are at peak... We got some GREAT photos. I enjoyed seeing yours.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Betsy
Donna, these fall photos are delightful. The colors are amazing!
ReplyDeleteWow -beautiful!! We have the same lovely colours - but no mountains for those beautiful wide vistas! And that little cabin is picture perfect!
ReplyDeleteSuch glorious autumn color. The cabin in the woods is so picturesque. What a wonderful set of note cards these would make.
ReplyDeleteHi Donna
ReplyDeleteThe cottage in the woods is adorable - I think I could live there - "Far from the Madding Crowd"!
Beautiful Autumn shots.
Hugs

These are so pretty. The best part about fall is all the color. It isn't looking like we are going to have too much color around here this year.
ReplyDeleteWow, the pics have a very peaceful and tranquil vibe! Very nice:@)
ReplyDeleteOOO, MY GOSH....
ReplyDeleteI'll take 22 boxes !!! :)

ReplyDeleteOh. My. Gosh.
ReplyDeleteYour pictures are stunning. Absolutely glorious. Each one looks a little bit of heaven.
I love these!!! I started at the end of the party and worked my way to the beginning. (Only because I am so late to it myself.) I have to tell you that yours are my absolute favorite ones that I have seen yet. Considering how many gorgeous ones are in the offering this month, that is really saying something. My favorite of yours is the one with the wheel, but that's just 'cause I have a thing for wheels. Thank you so much for sharing such incredible beauty!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Autumn photos!
ReplyDeleteGreetings, RW & SK
That color is truly amazing! The first two are my favorites. These would definitely sell as notecards! Lovin' 'em!!!
ReplyDeleteI love to visit the North Carolina mountains, these photos are spectacular! I know why they are called the blue ridge mountains, Thank you for sharing.

ReplyDeleteThat cabin is so colorful. I love it!
ReplyDeleteHi Donna,
ReplyDeleteI just realized who you are -- you're the blogger who hosts the Photo Challenge that Vee participates in. :) I'm so impressed with your Note Cards; I love the way you captured the shadows in the third photo! These images really strike a chord with me because my husband and I have lived in North Carolina all our lives, and we love the North Carolina mountains. You've captured their beauty so perfectly!
Thank you for your visit and kind comments from the Note Card party. I hope you have a wonderful fall weekend. :)
Hugs,
Denise at Forest Manor
