Colonial Williamsburg, Virginia
We thoroughly enjoyed our 2010 trip to Colonial Williamsburg to see their legendary Christmas decorations. If you can ever manage a trip to see the historical houses decked out in their finery of natural materials and experience Williamsburg’s Christmas celebrations, please go!
That is just gorgeous! I love the colours and it's perfect for fall and even the Christmas season in a dry or protected area.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Donna1 I've never been to WIlliamsburg, at any time of year, but it's on my Bucket List...
ReplyDeleteI LOVE Williamsburg! Many years ago my company sent me to a conference there and they made sure we had enough free time to take in all kinds of tours and activities and events. My heart longs to go back at Christmas time with my sweetheart. Thank you for sharing just a bit of the beauty of that wonderful place.

ReplyDeleteI've seen Sturbridge at Christmas and I suppose that that is as close as I'll get. It was lovely to see all the natural decorating elements.

A beautiful wreath bringing memories of the harvest. Windows make such interesting backgrounds.
ReplyDeleteIf we ever get to visit the States, Williamsburg will be on my list because of it's early historical significance.
Thinking of you and Jim dear Donna and wishing you a happy and peaceful Christmas Day.
