Once again, it’s time for Vee’s monthly note card party!
February is still dishing out a lot of winter weather in North America. So I decided to feature this month some polar landscapes around Churchill, Manitoba. I took these photos during our November 2012 trip. The first two images are new and the second two were posted in January.
The first photo depicts a sunrise over the frozen tundra, and the second one captures a colorful sky about an hour after the sunrise. Don’t forget to click on the photos to see them larger!
Below is an image collage that could serve as the box cover for the set.
These monthly note card parties are great fun. I hope you will have time to stop by A Haven for Vee and visit her other participants!

The land and the sky just seem to go on forever in those northern climes. You took some gorgeous photos on that trip and I'm so glad you're sharing them with us because I'll likely never vacation there!
ReplyDeleteHi Donna,
ReplyDeleteYour winter scenes are amazing! I really do hope you create some notecards from these! They would be spectacular! Hugs - Donna
I love those big open spaces, too! What amazing views you had and great photos. They are so sharp and clear, I feel like I can reach out and shake the snow off the trees! Perfect for notecards! Sweet hugs!
ReplyDeleteThese are gorgeous! 1 and 2 are my favorites. I got carried away with mine and ended up with 6, outside the bounds. Hopefully next month I will be able to follow directions. :-)

ReplyDeleteOhhhhhhhhhhhh...wide open spaces lend themselves beautifully to being photographed by an expert. Very, very nice. Your box top may be the best one I've ever seen.
ReplyDeleteYour polar landscapes are beyond amazing! I was able to get a few snow shots last week...in NC the snow is not a real common sight. This would certainly be a beautiful box of note cards!
ReplyDeleteNice job. I find myself looking at the skies especially in your wonderful notecards!
ReplyDeleteSo this is what frozen tundra looks like. They're all awesome note cards Donna, but I'm partial to that gorgeous sunrise; every bit as nice as Florida.
