Photo of the Week - Stone Spire and Bowl Glacier

Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming

The photo tour participants had to be diligent in moving to different areas within the park to avoid rainy weather. Springtime ushers in frequent rainstorms. Cloud formations can change dramatically over short periods of time, swirling between the mountain peaks. If one is patient, sometimes you can catch those magical moments when a sliver of sunlight filters through, providing contrast to a scene. A black and white treatment seemed fitting for this image of a majestic stone spire, overlooking a bowl glacier.

  3. Fabulous in black and white Donna. . . . . . . I was longing for something really coooool to gaze at on yet another hot night in the south!

We're in the middle of persuading NYC friends to take a trip to Jackson Hole and the Tetons area - they've never been and asked for advice such as, they want to see a quaint town, beautiful scenery, and quiet roads to drive - in August. Don't you think they would love it there? We did!
    Hope all is well dear.
