It’s hard to believe that I have already blabbered enough to celebrate my 100th post! And, it is especially sweet for this milestone to come around today, the one-year anniversary of my retirement! As you may have guessed, the little girl pictured above is me, many eons ago, grinning from ear to ear and proudly showing off a prized doll. Notice the bandaged knee? Some things never change, LOL.
I am very grateful to my friends for cheering me on and making blogging so much fun! As a special thank you, I am hosting my first bloggy giveway! I have two prizes: a cookbook by Rachael Ray and a stitched ornament made by yours truly. The cookbook is new, with no food stains or coffee rings, LOL. The redwork ornament features an energetic rabbit, as a remembrance of Marty, my official blog greeter. The stitching has been antiqued to give it a vintage look.
Here’s how to throw your name in the proverbial hat:
- Leave a comment on this post, and tell me which prize you would like to win. If you live outside the U.S., you will be eligible for winning only the ornament.
- For an additional entry, put a link about this giveaway on your blog and tell me in your posted comment.
The last day to enter is Sunday, October 5. Good luck, everyone, and thank you for visiting and chatting with me!
Congrats my friend on your 100th post! I LOVE that picture. You were such a cutie and probably still are lol. I would love either prize. I LOVE Rachel Ray she is great!

Blessings to you my friend.

love to win the rachael ray cookbook
ReplyDeleteOh boy, I'm torn. I love the ornament - it's quite like some I used to make, before the eyesight got so bad that the eyestrain is just too much to take. On the other hand, I love Rachael Ray (and not just because we share last names!) However, I'm supposed to be on a diet, so I suppose I really shouldn't have the cookbook. (On the other hand - what's that, three hands? - sometimes reading a cookbook can help me actually keep ON my diet. What a quandry. Well, I suppose if I have to pick one, I'll say (eenie, meenie, miney, moe) the cookbook. (Unless the ornament...) This is what happens when you make people choose between too very nice items!
ReplyDeleteI'd enjoy the Rachel Ray cookbook! I'm such a big fan of her!
