Time for a new Brenda Photo Challenge! The theme is Beauty is in the Eye of the Beholder. Our current challenge hostess, Karen of Loved and Engraved, picked the theme. Thank you, Karen! I decided to approach this challenge with some humor and quirkiness. I hope that you enjoy these selections!
Being inventive is a beautiful thing. Without hands or tissues, a cow has to improvise! The camera settings were f/6.3, and 1/160 second.
Only another elephant would think this body is attractive. Pass the lotion, please! The photo was taken at f/5.6, and 1/400 second.
Great job! You made me LOL literally! Those are perfect and beautiful in their own way. Doesn't the song say it best, "Everything is beautiful in its own way"?
ReplyDeleteHAhaaa!!! Smart cow! Pass the tissues please...now my nose itches...!!
ReplyDeleteGreat photos and idea!!hughugs
Great job! Animals are beautiful creatures, in each their own way.
ReplyDeleteOkay, the cow? Yeah, uh huh! LOL!!!
ReplyDeleteI always love your pictures my friend even if one is of a cow picking its nose!
Hugs.
Kim

ReplyDeleteand my favorite is the improvising cow!
HAHAHA You made me laugh this morning, and THAT's a good thing!! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry... but there is nothing pretty about an elephant's butt... reminds me of my own wrinkles, but I won't tell you where!!!
ReplyDeleteLove your macro. Love finding those hidden treasures in photos!
great captures! as always i love seeing what you come up with on these challenges! wonderful
ReplyDeleteWhat a great post. thanks for including your camera settings. I'm really and truly just beginning to take photos myself, I've always left that to my husband, and he seems to have lost it. So this is REALLY a challenge for me. Love the critter in the oak leafed hydrangea. Off to the garden center to get one.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe you got a picture of a cow sticking his tongue up his nose!! Too funny!! Great pictures too!
ReplyDeleteLOL I love that cow shot. Great job as always Donna.
ReplyDeleteNow how long did you have to stand and wait for that cow to take a lick? LOL LOL great pictures Donna!
ReplyDeleteThese are wonderful pictures and you have serendipitous timing my friend to catch everything at just the right moment!
ReplyDeleteVery clever cow explanation. lol
ReplyDeleteLove each photo; but I have to say, there is something about elephants that inspires awe.
A camel might have been a little behind the guinea when it came to handing out a face but that is one ugly chicken. lol
It looks like the cow picture is the overwhelming favorite! Would you believe that it did that nose picking within 2 minutes of me standing there, taking pictures of it? And to top it off, I got a picture of a different cow on the same day, in another pen, who did the same thing! It was too, too funny!
ReplyDeleteLoved your photos...very original!
ReplyDeleteAnd the vanilla and the birds below!
Thanks for visiting! I didn't get my challenge done this weekend, sorry!
