I hope that everyone had a wonderful Christmas! We had a relaxing day and a delicious ham dinner. We decided to try out a new glaze for the ham, spooned on during the last 20 minutes of baking. We loved it! The sauce is a savory combination of raspberry preserves and chipotle peppers. It is an excellent spread on ham sandwiches too!
I have conveniently posted the Raspberry-Chipotle Glaze recipe on Google Documents for your easy reference and printing.
Thanks for your sweet comments on my post! It's been a crazy few weeks, but it all came together nicely for Christmas!
ReplyDeleteI'd love to try that Glaze... Google docs wouldn't let me access it. Let me know if there's a secret to viewing it.
Blessings!

Hi Donna! I know - isn't this weather CRAZY??? The south has been getting a good taste of northern weather patterns! Just loved the phtoos of your trees! Stay warm! I'll try to do the same!... Donna
ReplyDeleteThis sounds fantastic. I love a tart berry and hot pepper combination. Coincidentally, I was at TJ Maxx the other day finishing up my shopping. They carry a nice line of jams and preserves that come in a heavy cut crystal juice glass. I like to buy them for my gift baskets. When picking some out I noticed a different brand in a beautiful faceted jar and picked it up. It was Raspberry Pepper Jelly! I bought it (for myself) and oh, my soul, is it ever good on a Ritz cracker! The tang, then the heat ... heavenly! I bet your glaze was just as scrumptious or even more so! I want to try it!
ReplyDeletetHAT sounds yummmy,Anything with Raspberry always seems decadant to me!
