  2. What a gorgeous photo! I'd have it framed and hanging in my laundry room stat. It totally reminds me of my grandmother's line, which took off from her veranda high into the air like that. She was six or so steps above the ground already so her laundry sailed over the driveway and cars could easily drive under without any trouble. I am noting the wee little items...socks? I think so. Too cute! Great colors! Love it!

  3. Great photo. Not such an everyday site anymore. I suspect they have a pully system like my mom use to have. You would hang your clothes on the lower level and then yank them up to fly in the breeze. If you forgot to yank them up the dogs would have a field day running through and your laundry day would start all over again.
