Vee's Note Card Party - Birds Silhouette

Instead of a “wordless Wednesday” post today, I’m linking up with Vee for her monthly note card party!

A Haven for Vee

A few weeks ago, I shared how I created a silhouette graphic from one of my Alaskan photographs. The post revealed this final image from my creative process. I gave it a wash in a dusty plum shade.

It is an easy step to take a basic graphic like this and apply some different hue adjustment layers to create a colorful set of greeting cards. How about a lovely teal card?

Or a mint green version?

Perhaps you would like a card the color of blue ink?

There are so many possibilities with a hue adjustment layer!

Please stop by A Haven for Vee to see posts by other note card party participants!

  4. So unique! I would totally buy a set of note cards done this way. What a crisp image perfect for fall.

(You know, if you could meet the requirements of both parties, there's nothing in my rules to prevent you from participating in Wordless Wednesday also.)

  6. Oh, what a great idea! I love the variety of colors and agree that this would make a lovely note card assortment.

Funny though...I am not seeing Halloween, but a mama bird feeding her sweet baby. It's all a matter of perspective, I suppose. :)

I've missed blogging and my blog buddies, like you. Hopefully, I will have lots of time to get back into it. By the way, your blog looks gorgeous. Love the leaves! Ok... must go back and try to figure out how to tweak my blog. :)
