Vee's Note Card Party - Trees

Once again, it’s time for Vee’s monthly note card party!

A Haven for Vee

Scenic landscapes are always good choices for note cards. And what do a lot of landscapes feature? Trees! If you haven’t read Joyce Kilmer’s famous poem in a while, it’s time to do so now and celebrate these wondrous adornments of nature.

Below are a few of my travel images that feature trees.

Cumberland Gap National Historic Park, Tennessee

El Malpais National Monument, New Mexico

Blue Ridge Parkway, North Carolina

Bella Coola, British Columbia, Canada

These note card parties are such fun! I hope you will have time to stop by A Haven for Vee and visit with her other participants!

  11. Wow, these are all so beautiful Donna! I love the one of the Cumberland Gap. I could sit and stare at that one for a long time. The tree growing out of the rockface is amazing too. Great choices for notecards. Hugs, Pam

  12. It doesn't matter in which state or province you capture trees, they are always interesting with their texture, foliage and what grows below them. I like the one in New Mexico; it has to be a survivor to grow in rock.

  17. Bella Coola! I did a double take when I saw that one. Not many people make it up there. Beautiful photos of trees. I'm so glad I live where trees abound.
