Kim of Homesteaders Heart tagged me this morning for some photography fun. I’m good sport and willing to play along! If you have been tagged, this is how you play:
1. Go to your 4th folder on your computer where you store photos.
2. Select your 4th picture (no exceptions).
3. Post the picture with an explanation and a link back to your tagger.
4. Tag 4 people to do the same.
Kim was hoping that I would hit a vacation photo and she’s getting gold. I took this picture out of our hotel window at the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel. We stayed here for a couple of nights at the beginning of a 2005 Canadian trip. This grand hotel has a majestic setting in Alberta’s Banff National Park. To make our visit even more magical, our room had a million dollar view of the Bow River. We thoroughly enjoyed this fabulous hotel and had great fun exploring every nook and cranny.
I am tagging any of the adventuresome folks listed on my sidebar who would like to play along.
Wow! What a glorious view!! Seeing something that awesome renews my faith in God all over again.

That is an amazing shot, Donna! Is is straight out of the camera?! Absolutely beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI'd like to play along, but I'll have to wait until after work!
I have TONS of vacation photos that I've shot since getting the digital camera. Hubby has even more than I do. We've been fortunate to enjoy some unbelievable vacations. And we hope to have more to come!
ReplyDeleteJazzy - I did a slight adjustment to light levels in Photoshop. The colors in almost every digital photo can be improved by adjusting the light levels.
Oh my goodness, this is beautiful! I have never been there but one of my friends who has been too many places says this area is her favorite. I bet you never wanted to leave. Really a gorgeous shot! That would look good framed.
ReplyDeleteOh I forgot to tell you that I ordered my camera this week from B & H. They had the best price and I did my homework too. LOL It was hard pressing the final button because I have never spent that on a camera before but I hope to use it alot. I did go for the D80. Thanks again for all of your help and info, you are a great bloggy friend! Now do you think I will take better photos? LOL
