Mister Jim Has Gone "www"

Mister Jim has gone and done it. Of course, I’ve been gently encouraging him for several years now. But it took someone else to finally convince him. He is now posting some of his photographs on the world wide web, like this spectacular one here!

No, he hasn’t started a blog. I don’t think he’ll ever venture into those waters. But he has started a Flickr account! He goes by the profile name of “Traveler Jim.”

As a retired professional photographer (industrial specialty), he can take beautiful photos and digitally process them with ease. He has been quite prolific in uploading many of his images, some very recent and some a few years old. Though we go everywhere together with our twin Nikon D90s, it is amazing to see how our styles and compositions diverge. We are so fortunate to share this wonderful hobby together and encourage each other’s efforts!

While I continue on my little blogging break, why don’t you meander over to his photostream and treat yourself to some slideshows of Traveler Jim’s photos? A convenient link is provided below. Once you get to the web site, click on an individual set of your choosing and then click again where it says “slideshow” above the image thumbnails. Have fun!

  2. I looked at the Virginia folder and was amazed at the beauty in faces and hands. It is wonderful when a photographer appreciates people. It is much more rare than you might suppose. And, on an opposing note, I also really like the wooden bowl of apples. ☺
