Notegraphy - Graphic Design Application for Text

I have always been fond of quotes, and I collect favorites on a regular basis.  So I was very happy to find out that there is a new web/mobile application that I can use to showcase them in a beautiful, graphical form. And these little gems are perfect to adding some visual punch to my blog now and then.

The application is called Notegraphy.  It is available for iPhones and iPads (free), and an android version will come out soon.  Notegraphy is incredibly easy to use.  After setting up an account, you simply type in your text and then choose a design and color combination.  Right now, they have about three dozen styles and more will be added over time.

Here’s a video that explains it how it works.

Once I established an account, I discovered that I was able to conveniently log in at the Notegraphy web site and create text graphics with my desktop computer too.

You may keep your creations private or public.  If you want to share them, convenient links are provided for various social media sites (e.g., Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest).  There’s even a download button, so you can save any of graphic files to your computer or camera roll on your mobile device.

You might want to give it a whirl too!

  1. ooh. this looks like fun. I love quotes, they are on slips of paper all over my house, and I periodically corral them into a notebook. Thanks for the tip.

  5. Those are cute! And that definitely sounds like a Winnie the Pooh quotation, always looking for a snack. :-)

  6. Wonderful app... Can't wait til we get our iPhone... Did I tell you that that is next on our life --once our 2 yr. contract is up... As much as I love quotes, I will really love that program.

I'm so disappointed tonight. We have reservations to spend 3 days (Wed-Fri) at Cashiers, NC at a quaint little inn there in the mountains... AND--they are predicted to have between 6-10 inches of snow plus sleet and power outages tomorrow... We can't even get into that area in that kind of weather.. SO--we have to cancel that trip... We were both looking so forward to this little trip since we were going to do some hiking and search waterfalls while there... Oh Well--tis life!!!!

    Hugs,

  7. That is very neat indeed. I write down quotes in my journal but this would be a fun way to use them on our blogs. Someone else shared a neat app today on how to make photos look like watercolors. It wasn't a free app but it sure is tempting to me. If you want the link, I'll email it to you! Hugs!

  10. ………….where will it all end! BUT agree this one is lovely - anything with the written word grabs my attention. Love Winnie The Pooh's quote! There's also a great App whirling about blogland to change pics into beautiful watercolor paintings.

Meanwhile I just want to know why I can no longer upload my own textures and overlays in PicMonkey - what did they do in last week's changes? Have you tried to do that this week Donna? I know you use PicMonkey sometimes!

Stay warm and safe if the ice comes your way today.
