Snowfall at the Homestead

Marty is a snow bunny!
We have gotten a touch of snow in our corner of the world the past couple of days! It’s not often that we get such an event, so Marty was quite excited to hop outside and check it out. The little snow event got Marty out of the doldrums, thank goodness. He was a bit disgruntled when he learned that he could not go with me to the power plant while I perform my temporary consulting tasks. But security isn’t set up to handle an energetic and pesky rabbit in the midst of serious business, LOL!

I am very preoccupied with the new job, and it is a challenge to get up to speed on the issues. Free moments will be scant in the weeks ahead, that’s for sure! Hubby is doing a great job minding activities at home and taking care of me. I hope I will be able to carve out a couple minutes to put together a post for tomorrow’s photo challenge.

  3. Look at Marty playing in the snow! We didn't get any snow and that doesn't make me sad at all. LOL Not a fan of the white stuff. Don't wear yourself out too much with work.

  4. No snow here, either, but 80 degrees today. I hope that doesn't mean the summer will be even hotter than usual! We do have plenty of jackrabbits and cottontails out here. Maybe Marty is part jackrabbit with those long ears of his.

  5. I had to laugh when I saw your rabbit because I have the very same one and for some reason my daughter doesn't like it so I find it hidden away in odd places like behind the bushes when her friends are coming over, or in the mailbox, and one time even hanging by a noose on the front porch...I hope my little critter is no relation to Marty, but reassure him he gets put back in his rightful place every time. Enjoy that snow, it's beautiful! The photo challenge is saturday dear so that'll give you a few extra days...stay warm!

Isn't it nice to have someone at home to help out when you are working?

I had a moment of panic when you said the contest was tomorrow. My heart is back where it should be now. :-)
