Dusk at the Cabin

I dusted off an old image and applied some new effects to emphasize the colors at dusk, when a sunset dances in the sky.

Carter Shields Cabin, Cades Cove
Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Tennessee

Here is the scene in a painterly style.

And an image of a historical cabin like this needs an old sepia tone treatment too!

  1. Last night the clouds were that beautiful soft shade of pink. I took the photos, though the color faded out so much that I would have had to do major playing to get the pink back. Is that allowed? Have fun today...

  9. That sure is a beautiful photo and a wonderful place to visit. We always see a lot of deer when we visit Cade's cove. It's such a treat to watch them...they seem tame!
