It’s now 2013 and my blog has reached its five-year anniversary! Marty, my irrepressible blog greeter, was hopping with excitement this morning. It was time to have a drawing and determine who won a photo book of my Alaska images! Ah, he knew that there was more afoot. He knew that I had been keeping mum on a decision to give away two books – one that features various Alaska landscapes and critters, and one that features the brown bears of Brooks Falls. And Marty knew that I also created a couple of desktop calendars for additional prizes.
I’ve been corresponding with the winners this morning, and without further ado, please congratulate the following blogging friends:
I am truly blessed to have so many faithful followers who visit me and leave sweet comments on a regular basis. Blogging has been a wonderful way to share my life experiences during the past five years. I started this web site a few months after I retired. It has been a labor of love. It has changed me. It has challenged me. What has been the biggest result? I’ve “met” interesting people from all over the world and made cherished friendships. What has been the second biggest result? I renewed my interest in photography.
It’s been an incredible life journey. Please join me while I continue down the path.
