Following the Path

South Shore Trailhead, Two Medicine Lake, Glacier National Park, Montana

We’re following the path ahead of us!

Mr. Jim had a new CAT scan earlier this week, and we consulted with the surgeon about the results. There does not seem to be any discernible change from a couple of months ago. Now that a couple of rounds of chemo have been completed, the next step is surgery for removal of the malignancies and swollen lymph nodes. Mr. Jim’s surgery is scheduled for September 10. He will be in the hospital for 7-10 days and recuperate at home over the course of a few months. Once he is sufficiently healed up, he will then go through a series of chemo and radiation treatments.

I would greatly appreciate it if you would continue to keep Mr. Jim in your prayers! Thank you so much!

P.S. Surgery is a good thing! It's what can cure him! Chemo/radiation treatment alone can't do it.

    1. The good news is that it hasn't gotten worse! Pre-treatment was a preventative measure before surgery.

  15. Dear Donna - you know how hard Bob and I are praying that Mr. Jim comes through the surgery and remaining chemo and radiation with flying colors!!!!!! I'm certain that with you at his side on the path to good health it will be much easier...........and will help him remain strong and dedicated to gaining back his health. All of us who have walked the cancer path in any way know what you are both facing and we are definitely cheering you on...................hope you can you hear us!

Mr. Jim, you have a lovely lady there so we know you'll do just fine - but when it's time for her to take a little break, know we are all here backstage sending blessings and get well wishes.

Enjoy your weekend - hopefully you are getting some of this lovely weather down your way.
    Hugs - Mary
