Blogging Slowdown

Snap. Life can change in an instant.

There is no rewind or a pause button. Command+Z doesn’t work either. You think that you know what your immediate future is going to be like from one day to the next. And then you get a surprise. So changes and adaptations are necessary. Priorities shift. Adjust accordingly and carry on.

The bottom line is that I will be blogging less for the foreseeable future. I may visit my blogging friends from time to time, but I won’t always take the extra time to comment. For now, I plan to keep up with “photo of the week” posts. The monthly A Personal Photo Challenge will continue. I will also post updates on how Mr. Jim and I are doing whenever there is something noteworthy to report. Any other posts will be happenstance and potluck.

Thank you for your understanding!

  8. Life happens ~ we will understand . I haven't been commenting as much as life in general has me a bit busier but I love when I can get around to everyone and try to keep up at least a weekly post lately. Enjoy yourself Donna.

  15. Dearest Donna, take all the time necessary to address health current issues facing you two - nothing else is so important as to be well again. You know I'll miss you here big time, hopefully now and then you will pop up and let us know how things are going over there in beautiful TN. Bet the blossoms are bursting like ours here - this warm and sunny weekend has made a huge difference. Hope the wintery mix predicted for Tues., with very chilly temps again doesn't appear - and even more that it doesn't impact our blogging pals up North again, I feel so bad for them having such a monster winter…………but they did take some really fabulous snow photos to share with us didn't they?
Sending huge amounts of love, big but gentle bear hugs, and tons of best wishes - remember you two very special friends will be in our prayers daily.

  19. Yes, it's what you have to do, my dear friend. I understand and yet the pit of my stomach falls hearing this. I will keep Jim and yourself in my prayers as always. If anybody knows how it is, I do. Don't put expectations for later on yourself yet, just go along with the way it is now and be okay with it. You may never want to get back to blogging, who knows? I thought there would be "getting back to normal" but I learned that normal is a different thing now, you don't get back to the way it was at all. God bless you, Donna, from the bottom of my heart I wish you all kinds of wonderful blessings that will carry you through, make you tough, make you weak, make you see new things in a different light. It's so hard to help somebody through this but we will all try to be there for you as you may need us. Don't forget to whistle. :) Much love, Jackie
