Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Tennessee
I was doing some landscape photography with a Chattanooga friend one morning in late October. The light was starting to peek over a mountain ridge at this one spot along Upper Tremont Road. We had to set up and shoot fast to capture soft diffused light on the water. I noticed a beautiful green reflection on the background stream, thanks to the rising sun. I took a couple of clicks, and then the reflected and the soft shadow lights were gone. Conditions can change quickly in the mountains, so you have to chase the light!
Profoundly true...always seek the light. This is a beautiful picture, which I realize is redundant. All of your photography is exceptional. These colors are some of my favorites...I could happily build a room around this.
ReplyDeleteBeautifully done, as always, Donna. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers as I know this is the season when you said good-bye to Mr. Jim. May you be surprised by God's love.
ReplyDeleteI love the colors in this photo. So vibrant! Gorgeous as always, hon. You are in my thoughts this Christmas season (((hugs)))) xoxoxo
ReplyDeleteGorgeous shot! I love what Vee said about seeking the light. May His light shine on you, even during these dark days of remembering. Praying for you this morning...
