Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Tennessee
I have a basic step-by-step system for editing an image. But one of the variables is the crop. I usually leave the photo as it was shot. Sometimes, I will do a panoramic crop to emphasize the subject matter. And every now and then, a square crop tells the best story.
For those who wonder, I’m doing okay. My heart is not into blogging and chattering about this and that. My weekly photos will have to suffice, and I continue to post them for your enjoyment.
Priorities remain vastly different than they use to be in the past. I’m not the same person that I was a couple of years ago. For example, this is no longer my favorite time of the year. It is simply a time to endure. I count my blessings and carry on.
Love to you...
ReplyDeleteWonder if that color green is the new color for 2017 (Pantones).
Beautiful shot sweet friend...
ReplyDeleteIf this is all we can get from you then, this is good enough! We love you and am feeling grateful that you post these lovely photos!
Hugs to you...

Very pretty shot. I agree with Donna, if this is what you can do then it's good enough. I'm always glad to see your gorgeous photos.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing these shots with us. Hugs and prayers to you, especially during this difficult time of year.
ReplyDeleteLet me re-phrase - Hugs to you and prayers to God for comfort and encouragement during this time of year.
ReplyDeleteThat is one thing that I love about blogging: there are no obligations. You shares what and when you desire. No apologies needed, friend. I am sure that this is a difficult time of year for you...so many memories...
ReplyDeleteI hope you feel free to keep posting these beautiful works of art. Not only are they inspiring, they are reminders to pray for you. Hugs...
Always look forward to your beautiful inspiring pictures. As for your reassuring words, I know exactly how you feel. Life will never be entirely the same. And now our daughter and her family, our only grandchildren, have moved out west to B.C., part of their response to our new reality. I never knew we'd miss them so much. So like you, Christmas is very different now. My blessings to you.
ReplyDeleteHi, Donna, I am glad to see you are maintaining this pretty blog..
ReplyDeleteI know this is a hard time of year for you and wanted to let you know I am thinking about you.
hugs to you....
beautiful picture Donna I don't like to blog much anymore I just plan don't like to write
ReplyDeleteI saw this beautiful photo on FB and I still love it. I'm glad you shared that you are at least doing okay and that is enough for me :) This time of year is rough on lots of folks. I'm just focusing on Jesus and the meaning of the season.
ReplyDeleteBTW...update on the switch plate lights. I installed 2 and it was extremely simple a monkey could do it. However, I expected the lights to be much brighter. They only put out about a foot wide area of light. A night light does much better to see with. If you want just some ambiance then they are fine for that. I needed to be able to see LOL I returned them all. 5 plates for $70 was a lot for a little light :( Love you sweetie!
