Gardening Season Begins

I love my daffies!
I finally have enough daffodils blooming to be able to cut and fill a couple of vases for the house. These beautiful flowers make me smile each time I see them!

Some warm temperatures arrived today and so did our dump-truck order of mulch for the flowerbeds and trees. We already started attacking the pile and spreading mulch this afternoon. Our muscles are going to be sore tomorrow! Are there any takers to help, LOL?

spreading this mulch pile is a pain in the patooi

  1. The daffys look gorgeous!
Spreding mulch is tiring but a lovely way to spend a day in the fresh air...
A hot bath at the end of the day for sure...

  2. Oh,how PRETTY!!

I'm glad there are two of you to spread that mulch. :)

  3. Your daffodils are so pretty! Sadly ours are going away at this point:(
I'll come help you with your mulch, if you will come to Texas and help me with mine! We go to the free mulch pile in town and get a truck load at a time, so we have to load and unload it.

  4. It's always nice to bring a little spring indoors! Your daffodils are lovely and add a nice touch ~ wish I lived closer I'd help spread mulch! :)

  5. Your flower beds are going to look so nice with the new mulch!

  6. I love Spring flowers and yours are so pretty.

How bout I watch you two spreading mulch? I'll keep the coffeepot hot. :-)

  7. The flowers are gorgeous. I had to dig my daffys up in the fall and did not replant them! No daffodils for me this year. :(

  8. Isn't Spring...Wonderful?!! And look at Marty!!! He wants to smell the flowers!hahahaa...Happy working weekend sweetie!!!hughugs

  9. I would so help you my friend. That is my kind of work!
I also wanted to thank you for your kind comment today. I wish I could surround myself with all you wonderful bloggy friends!
Big Giant Hugs to you my friend.
