Up Close Greeting

While coming back from the new cottage construction site yesterday, we saw the neighborhood horses grazing close to the fence row. As I approached the fence, one brave beauty came up for a petting. She looked a bit on the gooey side (from the rain), so I opted to just take her picture instead. A moment like this is one of the great joys of living in the countryside!

  1. Hope the human neighbors are just as friendly!

I'm comin' along, albeit very slowly. Lots of unforseen problems with my hips and sciatic, causing more pain than what I am getting from the knee. The therapist has to divide her time now and also work on my hip or we won't see much progress from the knee work. So, that puts me way behind on where I should be with the new knee. I fear the doctor is NOT going to be happy with me when I see him in 10 days.

  2. Great photo. I love horses but as you didm would probably refrained from giving him/her a pat while the hair was soaking wet. That of course is what is wonderful about your photo...the wet horse hair is perfectly clear!

    Have a great week end
