Photo of the Week - Fall Colors on the Hillside

Cherohala Skyway, Cherokee National Forest, Tennessee

Update on Mr. Jim: After consultation with his oncologist yesterday, Mr. Jim opted to resume chemotherapy. However, it will begin after our planned Thanksgiving journey to Asheville. The treatment will be a different combination of drugs. Adverse side effects are not expected to be as harsh as the regimen he was on earlier this year.

  5. One could build an entire room around that photo and those gorgeous colors.

The plan sounds like a very good one and it must feel good to have a plan in place.

  19. Asheville, you lucky lady! I hope you have a wonderful time there, think of me. I've always wanted to go there. Your photo is such a classic looking autumn scene, and because of that it is comforting, I feel. That's the feeling I got as soon as it popped up. Your state has amazing scenery!!

Well I'm praying hard for you and Mr. Jim as always, you have had a hard time but I was feeling grateful that you've had this time, at least. Cancer, what a difficult disease. They've made a lot of inroads with its treatment, thank God. Anyway, I will continue to pray for you and him. God bless! xoxoxoxo
